Planning a Health Fair or Health Education Program?

The NEMO AHEC Lending Library allows local organizations and educators to borrow teaching resources for a variety of age groups at no charge.

We provide anatomical models, health education displays, clinical teaching tools, CR-Rom training and pamphlets on a wide array of topics that may be used to present to church groups, community groups and/or youth groups. Our materials provide an effective visual aid for a health education message at public health fairs and or in a class room setting.

Some of the topics are:

· arterial health,

· blubber busters - fat vs. muscle

· bone loss/osteoporosis

· breast health model,

· dental health,

· emergency preparedness,

· handwashing/glitterbug,

· poison prevention,

· anti-tobacco,

· smoking ,

· STD,

· obesity,

· drug abuse

· alcoholism
