   Day Camps & Activities Minimize

Missouri AHEC Science and Health (M*A*S*H) Camps aim to help students with an existing interest in healthcare develop related experiences and increase talent in biology, chemistry, physics, and other sciences prior to high school coursework.  M*A*S*H camps are two or three-day “hands-on” science and health summer day camps for students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, presented by faculty from area high schools and colleges.  The goals are to generate interest in science and healthcare careers, involve students in  “hands-on” learning experiences, and expose students to the variety of healthcare careers available.

Faculty from area high schools and colleges present an impressive instructional program that introduces students to the fascinating world of science, using hands-on activities.  Fees ($20-$25) include 2-3 days of instruction, classroom materials, lunch & snacks, t-shirt, group photo and more.  Students participate in:

  • Chemistry/Biology Labs
  • Scrub Labs
