Hit the Road for Health Careers – A.T. Still University & Truman State University Campus Visit Event – is one of the most exciting places to be! It is where health care professionals bring passion about their field, and meet high school juniors and seniors and college students from across the state that are simmering with excitement about the possibility of their future in a health career. Students will participate in hands-on activities… things that health care professionals do every day. Things like testing hearing and fitness, assessing a patient, or surveying a scene to detect potentially dangerous situations, and learning by interacting with real patients!
Previous students have said,
“You guys did awesome. Seriously, I now know much more about health care. Thank you!”
“I am so thankful for this wonderful opportunity. I learned so many useful tid-bits!”
“I just wish it was longer and not just two days.”
- Undergraduate Health Programs – focused on allied health careers and nursing; primarily on the Truman State University campus with events at A.T. Still University as well.
- Graduate Health Programs – focused on a day in the life of a medical or dental student; all activities occur on the A.T. Still University campus.
