Becky Dawson & Dinah Coles

BECKY DAWSON, BSEd, became the Executive Director of Northeast Missouri AHEC, Inc (NEMO AHEC) in March of 2013. Five years prior, Dawson was NEMO AHEC’s Health Education Coordinator, where she was involved with programs such as “The Great Hospital Adventure” (healthcare careers puppet program designed for elementary students), the ATSU Aging Studies Project (involves community agencies and elders), AHEC Professional Corps (AmeriCorps program for healthcare professionals) and Health Literacy. Prior to being with AHEC, Dawson was the Director of Education, Development and Services in the Academic Affairs Department at A.T. Still University – Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dawson provides leadership and direction for NEMO AHEC operations, manages multiple funding streams, collaborates with area partner agencies and volunteers; and provides significant contributions to programming for the NEMO AHEC 21-county service area.  Dawson received her Bachelor’s of Science in Education degree from the University of Missouri. DINAH COLES, Office Manager is primarily responsible for the Center’s financial records, ensuring dollars are applied appropriately to each specific grant.  In addition to the financial responsibilities Dinah is responsible for Clinical Rotation for medical and dental students,  job shadowing for undergraduate students, the NEMO AHEC Library, student volunteers and insuring the office runs smoothly.  Dinah can be reached at [email protected].

RAVEN EISENBERGER, BS, CHES, became the Health Careers & Health Education Coordinator in January of 2018. Eisenberger provides leadership in coordinating middle school and high school health career club and career exploration opportunities, while also supporting community outreach efforts in the NEMO AHEC 21-county service area. Eisenberger graduated from Truman State University in 2017 with her B.S. in Health Science and a Minor in Business Administration. Eisenberger is a native of Kansas City, MO. As the Health Careers & Health Education Coordinator, Eisenberger works with the NEMO AHEC staff to continue providing programs to encourage young people to enter the health care workforce and increase the number of health care professionals in medically underserved areas in Missouri.
